Job Title: Social Media and Marketing Specialist (Part-Time, Contract)

Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and proactive Social Media and Marketing Specialist to join our team on a part-time, three-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and expand our reach by managing our website, social media platforms, and email communications.
Key Responsibilities:
•Website Management: Update and maintain our WordPress website with fresh content and resources.
•Social Media Management: Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
•Email Marketing: Manage our email account, develop and execute campaigns to grow our subscriber list, and communicate effectively with our audience.
•Outreach and Networking: Proactively reach out to nonprofits, community leaders, and politicians to source compelling stories and build partnerships.
•Content Creation: Develop high-quality written and visual content that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our mission.
•Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital campaigns and social media engagement, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
•Proficiency in WordPress for website updates and maintenance.
•Demonstrated experience in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
•Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
•Experience with email marketing platforms and growing subscriber lists.
•Ability to provide references and samples of previous work, including written content and social media campaigns.
•Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Contract Details:
•Duration: 3 months
•Part-Time: Approximately 10-15 hours per week
•Compensation: $25/hr
